Programs & Services

Scientific evidence suggests strongly that a child's success is significantly determined by the quality of nurturing in the first three years of life. The Help Me Grow program integrates several birth-to-three programs into one initiative so that services are better coordinated.  The former Welcome Home program, Early Start and Early Intervention are now combined into the expanded Help Me Grow Program.

Through this program families are eligible to receive:

• Prenatal home visits to expectant mothers
• Home visits to assist the health of newborns
• Early identification of children with developmental delays
• Information regarding child health, development
• Screenings for health, hearing, vision, and overall development
• Information and referral for families to various community service providers.

Services are provided through a regular schedule of home visits to families.
