What is Family First Council?

Medina County Family First Council was
formally initiated in 1995 to:

 • Heighten collaboration between agencies that address health and human services, including heads of major departments, elected officials, parents, business people, and other key stakeholders.

• Family First Council is dedicated to strengthening the Medina County community by coordinating and supporting health, human, and social services.

• Analyze the difficulties families are experiencing, investigate barriers that impact service delivery, and collaborate on how we can improve it.

• Strengthen family community resources.
